Salisbury, N.C.----The ninth-ranked Catawba College Indians prevailed 4-0 over #11 Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action Thursday afternoon. The Indians improve to 14-1 overall and 8-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 12-4 overall and 7-1 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Catawba picked up 6-1 and 6-2 wins at two and three doubles
- Anastasia Oktiabreva and Daniela Kotara were in a tight 4-3 match at one doubles
- The Indians took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Catawba picked up wins at one, three and six singles to collect the victory
- Fernanda Castillo won the opening set 6-2 at four singles
- Mariia Bobrovska had a 2-1 lead in set two at five singles
