Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs rolled to a 14-2 seven-inning victory over Anderson University in game one of Saturday afternoon's South Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. The Trojans salvaged the final game of the series 12-8. Wingate takes two out of three in the weekend series, finishing the regular season at 34-16 overall and 24-9 in the SAC, while the Trojans move to 24-24 overall and 11-21 in league play. The victory gives Wingate the number two seed in the SAC Tournament, earning hosting duties in next weekend's opening round.
