Wingate, N.C.----The seventh-seeded and 12th-ranked Anderson University Trojans prevailed 21-13 at second-seeded and sixth-ranked Wingate University in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II men's lacrosse South Regional Sunday afternoon at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. The Trojans improve to 15-4 overall, while the Bulldogs end their season at 13-4.

FIRST PERIOD
- Matthew Rodgers started the scoring for Anderson 25 seconds in
- Clark scored off a Spence assist at the 11:49 mark to tie it
- Butrico's goal with 10 minutes left gave the Bulldogs a 2-1 lead
- Butrico scored again two minutes later to push the lead to two
- Moran's goal at the 6:53 mark put the 'Dogs on top 4-1
- Cooper Laughlin answered with a goal 11 seconds later
- Spence scored with 5:40 remaining off an assist from Vorderlandwehr
- Butrico scored off Spence's assist with 2:16 to go to give Wingate a 6-2 lead
SECOND PERIOD
- A Jacob Kirchhofer goal three minutes into the second pulled the Trojans within two
- Grant's goal at the 9:40 mark pushed the WU advantage back to three
- Bitzer scored with eight minutes left to give Wingate an 8-4 lead
- AU scored the final five goals of the half on what would end up being a 10-0 run
- Cole Sparks scored twice in the final 18 seconds, giving the Trojans a 9-8 halftime lead
THIRD PERIOD
- Goals from Sparks and Kirchhofer pushed the lead to three in the opening five minutes of the third
- Brayden Bushnoe and Brodie Deutsch scored in a 12-second span to give AU a 14-8 lead with eight minutes left
- Spence scored a minute later to stop the Anderson run
- Radyn Badraun and Bushnoe answered with goals to give the Trojans a 16-9 advantage
- Butrico scored in the final second of the frame to cut the lead to six
FOURTH PERIOD
- Badraun and Sparks scored in the first three minutes of the final frame to make it 18-10
- Butrico answered with a goal off a Moran assist
- AU scored the next three, with a Bushnoe goal with four minutes left making it 21-11
- Grant scored with 36 seconds remaining
- Clark scored off Moran's assist nine seconds later to cap the scoring
