Bulldogs force third game, but fall in finale of SAC Tourney opening round at Anderson

Anderson, S.C.----After dropping the opener of the best-of-three series Friday afternoon, the seventh-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs picked up an 8-3 victory at second-seeded Anderson University Saturday afternoon to force a final game of the series. The Trojans bounced back to prevail 8-3 in that contest to advance to the SAC championship series. Anderson improves to 36-11 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 27-20.
