Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs celebrated Senior Day in style, cruising to a 7-0 victory over visiting Barton College Saturday afternoon in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. Wingate improves to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in the SAC, while Barton falls to 1-5 overall and 0-4 in league play.

- The 'Dogs poured in four goals in the third
- Steyn started the second-half scoring six minutes into the frame
- Derouaux scored a minute later to make it 4-0
- Peterson scored off a Pearson assist to push the lead to five
- Berry's goal off another Pearson assist made it 6-0

FOURTH QUARTER

- The 'Dogs scored their final goal of the day with just under nine minutes to go
- Brown capped the scoring, giving Wingate a 7-0 victory
