2015: Wingate’s team MVP…Claimed All-Southeast Region honors last season, posting a personal-best 10K time of 33:42 to take 11th place at regional race (at Wingate)…Missed qualifying for nationals by nine seconds… First team All-SAC performer, thanks to third place performance at league championship meet (25:23 8K)…Began season by winning Catawba’s Chick-fil-A Invitational with an 8K time of 26:40…Patel’s 8K race finishes for junior season: first, second (Bulldog Stampede), sixth (Disney Classic) and third (SAC meet)…First Wingate XC student-athlete to gain admittance to the University’s School of Pharmacy…SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…
 
2014: Started season with 27:23 8K in Furman Invitational for 25th place showing…Top 15 finisher in Bulldog Stampede, posting an 8K time of 27:24 to take 11th place…Competed in SAC championship meet 8K race, finishing in 22nd place with his 27:37 clocking…Helped Bulldogs in the NCAA Southeast Regional championship meet, posting a 10K time of 35:32 at the season-concluding race (78th place)…Earned Academic All-District™ III honors for cross country and track from CoSIDA…SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…
 
2013: Participated in every race (one of four ‘Dogs to do so)…Ran 27:31 at Royal XC Challenge for his best time of season (63rd place)…Four 8K times between 27:31 and 27:48 his freshman year…Posted a 27:47 8K in second career race at Montreat for a season-best 17th place showing…Recorded a 27:38 at SAC championship meet to take 24th place…Claimed an 8K time of 27:48 in star-studded Greater Louisville Classic field (141st place)…SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…
                                                             
High School: Nepolian Patel won an individual conference cross country championship while a student-athlete at Southern Nash. He was an all-conference performer both his junior and senior seasons. In track, Patel helped the Firebirds win the regional meet his freshman year. He also earned an individual regional championship in the 3200 meters. Patel was a four-time SNHS track MVP. Nepolian is the son of Paresh and Rekha Patel.
