High School: Will Manning competed in cross country along with track and field at Nation Ford. He was team MVP all four years in both sports for the Falcons. In addition, Manning earned the captain position among his peers as senior (both XC and T&F). The NFHS Falcons were members of S.C. Region 3A-4A Conference, as Manning earned All-Region cross country honors two times. He was All-State in the 800 meters as a track student-athlete. His personal best times include 53.1 (400 meters), 1:58.40 (800 meters), 4:41.5 (mile) and 16:37.3 (5K). At Nation Ford, his cross country coach was Alexandra Vroon and his track coach was Christopher Ross. Manning earned many academic awards, including the National Junior Merit Scholarship. Will is the son of Mark and Nancy Manning.
