2019: Jacob Rooker saw long-snapper action in six regular season games as Wingate won 10 games for the first time in school history…Contributed to five WU victories over Tusculum, Limestone, UVA Wise, Newberry and Mars Hill…Helped punter Ethan Evans claim SAC AstroTurf Player of the Week honors after the Newberry victory…Evans had two of six punts downed inside the five-yard line…Saw All-SAC and All-SER place-kicker McLean Robertson become a national finalist for the Fred Mitchell Outstanding Place-Kicker Award (one of only 10 honorees from 750+ schools in the FCS, Divisions II and III, NAIA and NJCAA)…The ‘Dogs made their third consecutive trip to the NCAA playoffs…
