Biography

James Holston saw time in five contests for the 2010 SAC champion Bulldogs. Wingate compiled a 5-0 record in Holston’s five appearances (Carson-Newman, Tusculum, Brevard, Lenoir-Rhyne, Newberry). During the summer of 2011, Holston participated in Wingate’s world-renowned W’International program. Holston and 20 classmates ventured to Norway with Wingate assistant professor of sport sciences Dr. Abbey Dondanville.

Holston was a member of the football and track teams at Weddington. A tight end for the Warriors, Holston was a senior co-captain. Holston graduated from Weddington with a stellar 4.01 GPA. He is the son of Scott and Tammy Holston.
