Biography

Marino Pignataro posted a fumble recovery in a 2011 contest at Albany State. He also saw action against Lenoir-Rhyne. Pignataro and his 2010 teammates earned a SAC championship ring with the school’s first league football title.

While a student-athlete at St. Francis Prep, Pignataro was a member of the varsity football and track and field teams. As a senior football player, he won the Most Unselfish and Dedicated Player Award. Pignataro was presented the Brian Murphy Scholarship Award as well. He was a defensive back and linebacker for head football coach Vincent O’Connor. His older brother (Joe Pignataro) played and coached for the Bulldogs. A Liberty University transfer, Marino is the son of Marino and Mary Pignataro. His father played college football.
