Biography

Mike Arndt is a three-year starter on the Bulldog offensive line (right tackle). In 2010, the Bulldogs were second in the SAC in passing offense (332.7 yards per game) and total offense (443.3 yards per game). In his three years as a starter, Arndt has blocked for 15 100+ yard performances by Wingate running backs. The Bulldog O-Line helped 2011 graduate Nelson Woods rush for 1000 yards for the third time in his career. Arndt was named All-SAC in 2010.

Arndt has helped the Bulldog offense put up big numbers. In 2009, Wingate averaged 395.3 total offense yards per game. The Bulldogs were second in the SAC in scoring offense (33.6) and passing offense (241.1) last year. In 2008, Arndt and the Bulldog offensive line helped Wingate average 238.4 passing yards per game. Wingate was second in the SAC and number nine in the NCAA Division II in passing offense during the 2008 campaign.

Arndt was a redshirt in 2007. During his high school career at Weddington, Arndt earned All-County, All-Conference, All-Region and All-State honors. He was a co-captain. In addition, he earned the Warriors’ leadership award. He is the son of Mike and Teri Arndt.
