Personal: Neal Almstead was a member of the football and basketball teams at Rockingham County. On the gridiron, he served as team captain and earned team MVP honors his senior season. On the hardwood, Almstead was a team captain his senior campaign. Outside of athletics, he was a member of FCA and the National Honor Society. Neal is the son of Steve and Joyce Almstead.
