2015: Sha’mond Squires played in all 11 games and posted 12 tackles (five solo, seven assists) on the season…Season-high three tackles against Carson-Newman…Two stops on three occasions (Tusculum, North Greenville, Mars Hill)…

Personal: Sha’Mond Squires was the 2014 New Bern Sun Journal Defensive Player of the Year. He led New Bern High School with 196 tackles, six sacks, three interceptions and 13.5 tackles for loss. Squires was the Bears’ Most Valuable Defensive Player in their 23-15 victory over Charlotte Catholic in the 2014 NCHSAA 4A state championship game. Sha'Mond is the son of Ms. Adrian Williams.
