Prior to Wingate: Blake Bailey was a team captain during his senior year at Hough High School under head coach Jason Grube. He averaged 12.0 points per game during his senior season, adding 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest. Blake's uncle David Wingate played in the NBA.
