2012-13: Deion Turman started 24 games in his junior season. Turman finised with an average of 9.1 points per game, 7.4 rebounds per game, and 1.3 blocks per game. He finished third in the SAC in rebounding, fourth in field goal percentage and fifth in blocks. Turman's had a season-high 19 points against Catawba and a high of 15 rebounds against Lincoln Memorial in the SAC championship game. Turman had three double-double’s in the season (14 rebounds and 16 points at Anderson, 12 rebounds and 13 points against Anderson, and 15 rebounds and 12 points against Lincoln Memorial). 

2011-12: In his first season at Wingate, Turman appeared in 32 of 33 games for the Bulldogs. He started 15 of those contests. Turman averaged 5.3 points and 4.9 rebounds a game. Turman had three double-double games in his first Bulldog campaign. He scored his career-high 15 points (hitting six-of-nine from the field), in a SAC victory at Carson-Newman. Turman scored eight points in Wingate’s post-season win against #17 Lincoln Memorial en route to taking the Food Lion SAC tournament championship. He was second on the team in rebounding and in total blocks (48).

Prior to Wingate: Turman arrived at Wingate as a transfer from Robert Morris University. Turman played his high school ball at Mt. Lebanon, where he helped his team to the 2010 Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League class 4A state title. Turman averaged 10.1 points per game and 12.9 rebounds per game while guiding his team to a 25-3 record as a high school senior. The son of Lisa Raymond, Turman saw action in eleven games during his freshman season for the RMU Colonials, scoring nine points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
