Biography
2012-13: Jeff Parker played in all 31 games during his junior season. He averaged 5.5 points per game, 2.8 rebounds per game, and 1.3 blocks per game, shooting 64.8 percent from the field. Parker had seven games with double-digit points( Limestone, Johnson C. Smith, Lenoir-Rhyne, Lincoln Memorial, Catawba, Newberry, and Mars Hill). Parker also had seven games with three or more blocks.
2011-12: During his sophomore season, Parker played in 31 games with 13 starts. Parker averaged 4.6 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game. He was third on the Bulldog charts with 41 blocks on the season (1.3 blocks per game). Parker had his season high 16 points (shooting seven-of-nine from the field) in the Bulldogs’ home victory over Mount Olive. He added six blocks and four rebounds in the Mount Olive triumph. Parker had one double-double on the season. He scored 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 19 minutes during a SAC home win over Carson-Newman.
2010-11: In his freshman year, Parker saw time in 29 of 29 games, while starting two. He started against Lincoln Memorial and Mount Olive. He averaged 2.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Parker led the Bulldogs in blocked shots with 50. He had a career- high seven blocks against Newberry in 13 minutes of play. He also scored double digits twice, scoring 10 points against Brevard and a season-high of 11 points against Mount Olive. In the statistical rankings, Parker finished third in blocked shots for the season.
High School: Parker is a 6-7 forward who played for head coach
Randel Galloway at McMichael High School. The two-time All-Conference selection averaged 13.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game in his senior season. The Fighting Phoenix were 13-11 overall during Parker’s senior campaign.
