2013-14: Ryan Daye earned second team All-SAC honors during his junior season…Led the team with 17.5 points per game, ranking ninth in the conference…Added 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game to go along with 23 steals…Knocked down a team-best 65 threes, ranking 11th in the SAC…Ranked ninth in the league in free throw shooting (82.8 percent)…Scored in double figures in 22 of 26 games, scoring 15 points or more 17 times…Scored 35 points in season opener, adding six rebounds while hitting 10-of-11 free throws…Had 35 points at Tusculum on 12-for-16 shooting…Registered 19 points and five assists against Lenoir-Rhyne…Had 32 points in overtime win at Anderson, including game-winner in final seconds, hitting six-of-10 shots from beyond the arc…Had 33 points in overtime win at Johnson C. Smith, adding four assists while going six-for-10 from three-point range…Scored 23 points in win against Queens, followed by a 22-point effort in Tusculum win…Finished the season by scoring double figures in last 10 games, including 22-point effort at Newberry, a 19-point, four-assist game in the win over Anderson and a 22-point performance in win at Brevard. 

2012-13: Started 23 of Wingate’s 31 games during his sophomore season...Averaged 11.9 points per game, 1.6 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists per game...Ended his season shooting 76.9 percent from the free throw line...Had three games with 20+ points: at Mount Olive (22), Tusculum (23), at Mars Hill (26) with two of the three resulting in a win...Had four games with four or more made three-pointers (Clayton State, Tusculum, at Mars Hill, at Brevard) all four resulting in a win.

2011-12: Appeared in 30 games during his freshman season at Wingate, averaging 1.5 points per game...Scored season-high seven points against Johnson C. Smith, shooting three-of-four from the field...Had six points, three rebounds and an assist in a big regional victory against Mount Olive...Collected five points, four rebounds and one assist in a SAC home triumph over Carson Newman...Shot 80 percent from the free throw line as first-year Bulldog, hitting 12-of-15 attempts on the season.

High School: Played his scholastic school ball at The Elon School, where he scored 1,515 points over a three-year career...Led the team to its first-ever NCISAA state playoff appearance...Scored a career-high 40 points in the state playoff game...Was selected to the Burlington Times-News all-region first team...The son of Kyle and Devonia Daye, Ryan came to Wingate after playing the 2010-11 season at Kimball Union Academy in Meridan, N.H., where he averaged 14 points per game and was named the team’s MVP.
