2014-15: Xavier Griffin was one of two Bulldogs to start every game during the 2014-15 season…Finished second on the team with 10.7 points per game during his junior year, leading the team and ranking 12th in the SAC with 2.8 assists per game…Collected 3.1 rebounds per contest, adding 22 steals on the year…Shot 48.1 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from three-point range and 73.7 percent at the free throw line…Scoring 14 points in each of Wingate’s first two games of the year…Had 12 points and four assists in the win at Tusculum…Piled up 15 points and six assists against Anderson…Followed a 16-point effort at Queens with 13 points, four rebounds and three assists against Tusculum…Had 14 points on five-of-seven shooting at Anderson…Went eight-for-eight at the free throw line against Queens, scoring 17 points…Had 22 points on seven-of-10 shooting against Carson-Newman…Scored in double figures in each of the last four games of the year, starting with a 17-point, four-rebound effort at Lincoln Memorial…Had 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists against Brevard. 

2013-14: Griffin started 25 games during his sophomore year at Wingate, averaging 8.4 points per game while ranking fifth in the SAC with 3.7 assists per game…Ranked seventh in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio…Added 2.9 rebounds per game while registering 28 steals…Shot 36.2 percent from three-point range and 78.5 percent from the free throw line…Scored in double figures 10 times…Had 12 points and six assists in season-opener…Collected 16 points and six rebounds against Catawba…Piled up 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists in overtime win at Johnson C. Smith…Compiled 12 points and five assists against Carson-Newman…Had 15 points, five rebounds and four assists in win against Anderson…Scored a career-high 19 points against Newberry…Had 14 points and five rebounds against LMU in the SAC Tournament. 

2012-13: Played in all 31 of games as a freshmen...Averaged 3.1 points per game, 1.3 assists per game, and 0.6 steals per game...Season high was at Barton where he had 11 points with two steals and an assist tacked on...Dished out four assists four times (Tusculum, at Mars Hill, at Lenoir-Rhyne, at Tusculum) coming out with wins in all four of the games. 

High School: Averaged 20 points, six assists and five rebounds per game during his senior season at Victory Christian Center School...Team captain as a senior...Earned All-Conference and All-State accolades in 2012...Xavier is the son of Bobby and Verna Griffin...His aunt Dianna Monroe was a basketball All-American for the Bulldogs...Monroe is also a member of the Wingate Sports Hall of Fame.
