Biography
2009-10: David Velasquez competed in five tournaments during the 2009-10 campaign. He posted a season-best 78 in the Honda Columbia Fall Classic. Velasquez finished the season with an 81.2 scoring average.
2008-09: Velasquez did not see action for the Bulldogs in his sophomore season.
2007-08: Velasquez appeared in one event during his first year at Wingate. He posted consecutive rounds of 86 at the Chick-Fil-A Intercollegiate in March. David is the son of of David and Leyla Velasquez.
