2014: Konnikov played in eight events (19 rounds) for the Bulldogs as a true freshman…his 75.8 strokes per round average was second on the WU charts to SAC medalist Benedict Gebhardt and his 73.1 strokes per round…Konnikov had one top-five showing, one top 10 and three top-20 finishes on the season…he finished tied for third with a 142 (identical rounds of 71-71) at the LRU/Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate in only his third collegiate event…eighteen of his 19 freshman year rounds were in the 70s…in the SAC championships, Konnikov shot a 232 (79-76-77) to finish 11th in the 60-player field…posted two rounds of 72 with one each in the Smokey Mountain Intercollegiate and the Full Moon BBQ Invitational…

Amateur: Konnikov won the Junior Team Championship U14 division in 2007…he won the bronze medal the following year…he was the youngest player to make the cut in the 2010 German Men’s Championship and qualified and competed in the individual U18 German Championships in 2011 and 2012… Konnikov has been part of Team Wannsee since 2011, representing the oldest and one of the most prestigious golf clubs in Germany…Team Wannsee won the bronze medal in the 2011 German Team Championship…Konnikov has been the club champion in his age group from 2007-13…he played during these years for the State team of Berlin/Brandenburg…During his time at Wingate, Konnikov won the North German Championship…he had a runner-up finish in the Coca Cola/Berlin Open Championship during the summer of 2014…
