Biography
2008: Missed season due to injury. Elected a team captain by his teammates. Named to the conference’s academic honor roll.
2007: Appeared in all 15 games and started 14. He contributed 28 points on 18 goals and 10 assists while playing attack. Had career highs of 3 goals vs. Limestone, 2 assists in DSC championship game, and 4 points vs. Lees-McRae. Named to the conference’s academic honor roll.
2006: Missed all but 6 games due to injury, started 5 games. Scored 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points. Had a career high 8 ground balls vs. Queens.
2005: Appeared in all 13 games as a freshman and started 6. Recorded 12 points on 7 goals and 5 assists.
High School: Attended Hayfield Secondary and played for Bob Bowman and Jack Kendall. Three time all-district, two time all-region, and honorable mention All-America. Selected to play in the USLacrosse Senior Showcase. Mike is joined by his younger brother Bryan Bayliss on the Bulldog roster.
