Wingate University Athletics

2017-18: Josh DuToit and Daniel Belsito are the 11th-ranked team in the nation in the most recent Oracle/ITA Division II National Doubles Rankings. They are the second-ranked doubles team in the Southeast Region. Belsito and DuToit finished second at the ITA Regionals in October of 2017. 

2016-17: DuToit was a first team All-SAC doubles selection during his junior season at Wingate…Went 13-6 in singles play, with an impressive 8-1 mark in league play…Went 12-6 at four singles, while going 1-0 at number three singles…Picked up a 6-1, 7-6 victory over #47 Francis Marion, while winning 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 at four singles against SAC champion Queens…Picked up a singles victory against #14 Georgia College while also notching a victory in the SAC Tournament semifinals…Teamed with Daniel Belsito to go 12-8 in doubles play, with an 8-2 record in league play…The duo played all 20 matches at number one doubles…They won 8-1 against #47 Augusta, while rolling to a 6-1 victory over Radford…Prevailed 8-5 over Queens in the SAC title match.

2015-16: DuToit earned honorable mention All-SAC honors during his sophomore season at Wingate…Piled up a team-best 15 wins, going 15-5 in singles play with a perfect 11-0 mark against SAC opponents…Picked up 13 wins at five singles, adding a pair of victories at number four singles…Ended the season on a nine-match winning streak, without dropping a set in any of the nine matches…Also picked up a victory at number three doubles for the Bulldogs.

2014-15: DuToit notched a 16-3 singles record during his freshman season at Wingate, while going 3-5 in doubles play…Ranked second on the team in singles victories…Went a perfect 11-0 against SAC opponents…Registered 15 wins at number six singles and one victory at five singles…Picked up a 6-4, 7-6 win over Division I Davidson in his second collegiate match…Compiled a 14-match winning streak, which included two SAC Tournament victories, dropping only one set during the winning streak.
