Biography
2010-11: Viselli was an All-Bluegrass Mountain Conference selection in the 200 Freestyle Relay and 200 Backstroke. He currently holds the fourth-fastest time in the 200 Backstroke. Viselli is part of two teams that hold the fourth and fifth-fastest times in the 200 Medley Relay.
2009-10: Viselli was an important part of another BMC title for the Bulldogs. He raced well in his Freestyle and Backstroke events and earned a trip to the NCAA Division II Champioships in Canton, Ohio. At the NCAA meet, Viselli took 17th place in his 200 Backstroke event and 12th as a part of the 200 Medley Relay.
2008-09: In his freshman year, Viselli displayed rapid growth in his Freestyle and Backstroke races. In his first conference championships, he stepped up and scored big points in races that mattered while helping the men to BMC title. Viselli’s top finishes on the year included a third-place finish in the 100 Backstroke against Limestone and a third-place finish at the Winter College Invitational in his 50 Freestyle.
HIGH SCHOOL: Viselli hails from Windsor, Ontario. Viselli was a nationally-ranked age group swimmer in his native Canada. As a member of the Windsor Essex Swim Team, he earned many awards. Viselli was MVP and Most Improved. An Air Cadets member, he served many hours as a volunteer with the group. Santino is the son of Claudio and Theresa Viselli.
