2016-17: Team captain...

2015-16: Mehdi Zeraidi and three teammates won the silver medal in the 200 Medley Relay at the 2016 Bluegrass Mountain Conference championship meet as the Bulldogs finished second on the team leader board. The Bulldogs’ 200 Medley Relay quartet posted a time of 1:30.04. Zeraidi finished 12th in three 2016 BMC events: the 50 Freestyle (21.04), the 100 Butterfly (50.32) and the 100 Freestyle (46.26). In the Gardner-Webb dual meet (Nov. 20), Zeraidi posted a collegiate-best time of 54.75 in the 100 Backstroke.

2014-15: Zeraidi achieved multiple personal best times during the Bluegrass Mountain Conference championship meet. In the sprint free events, Zeraidi placed 15th in the 50 Freestyle (20.87) and 11th in the 100 Freestyle (45.99) during the BMC meet. For his primary event (the 100 Butterfly) he posted a 49.69 to secure a ninth-place finish. Zeraidi was one of the four WU men to receive honorable mention CSCAA Scholar All-America team recognition. He will continue to help the team in the sprint events for the upcoming season.

2013-14: Zeraidi swam the following career-best times at the ninth annual SCAD College Invitational in Savannah, Ga. Dec. 5: 21.93 (50 Freestyle), 48.33 (100 Freestyle) and 52.92 (100 Butterfly). At the Queens vs. Wingate dual meet in Charlotte, he swam these times: 48.98 (100 Freestyle) and 54.07 (100 Butterfly). Mehdi Zeraidi opened his collegiate career at the 2013 All-N.C. Invitational in Greensboro with the following times: 22.35 (50 Freestyle), 49.58 (100 Freestyle) and 55.36 (100 Fly).

Personal: Zeraidi hails from Brussels, Belgium. The son of Abdelaziz and Soraya Zeraidi, he attended Athéneé Bracops Lambert High School. A Moroccan National Champion, his top three events and times are 50 Free (24.06), 100 Free (52.66) and 100 Fly (57.69). When Zeraidi is not swimming, he loves to watch television. His father played on the Men’s National Volleyball team in Morocco.
