Personal: Brittany Tedder joins the Bulldog family after an outstanding career at Richmond Senior High School in Rockingham. She played shortstop for head coach Wendy Heath at Richmond Senior, helping the Raiders win two conference championships during her career. Tedder’s awards could fill several trophy cases. In softball, she was an All-State pick her junior and senior seasons. Tedder earned conference and district Player of the Year honors her final campaign. Richmond Senior won the league title her senior season, with Tedder topping the charts in doubles, home runs and RBI. She was the conference leader in home runs as well. Tedder hit .493 her final season. She earned numerous awards in volleyball, including All-Region distinction. The team captain in both softball and volleyball her senior season, Tedder also participated in basketball for the Raiders. Brittany Tedder is the daughter of Harold and Donna Tedder. Her brother (Corey) plays football for the N.C. State Wolfpack. Brittany is an Elementary Education major.
