Biography
2008-09: Jessy Keitt started 12 games during her sophomore season. She averaged 5.4 points per game and 3.6 rebounds per game. Keitt was fourth on the team charts in rebounding. She tallied a season-high 12 points against Tusculum (Feb. 11). Keitt scored 10 points three times: King (Nov. 28), USC Aiken (Dec. 3) and Armstrong Atlantic (Dec. 19). Wingate won the three games when Keitt tallied 10 points. She pulled down eight rebounds each against USC Aiken and AASU. Keitt was fifth on the Bulldog charts with 21 steals.
2007-08: Keitt appeared in all 34 games for the Bulldogs her freshman season, averaging 5.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. She had 13 points in the season-opener against Queens. Keitt had 12 points and six rebounds against Lander. She had 10 points and five rebounds against Tusculum. She had four points, nine rebounds and three steals against Georgia College & State. Keitt had nine points and five rebounds in the regional title game against Clayton State.
High School: Jessy Keitt was the captain of the Providence Day
basketball team. She was a CISAA All-Conference performer, helping lead Providence Day to three consecutive state championships. The
team was nationally ranked by USA Today and Sports Illustrated.
Keitt was born on June 14, 1989. Jessy is the daughter of Tracey
and Yvonne Keitt. She is an English major.
