2020-21 (JUNIOR)
  • Appeared in 14 games as a junior, making one start
  • Tallied eight points, 14 rebounds, five assists and five steals
  • Had four points, six rebounds and two assists in the season-opener at Tusculum
  • Registered four points and two steals in 18 minutes at Belmont Abbey

2019-20 (SOPHOMORE)
  • Appeared in all 30 games in her second season at Wingate, making nine starts
  • Averaged 1.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per contest
  • Handed out 28 assists while piling up 29 steals to go along with six blocks

MaeOla Willis led the Hoyas to the 6A State Championship stage for two straight years...Rounded out her high school career averaging 10 points, four steals, five rebounds and four assists while earning both a regional championship title and an All-Region honorable mention selection in 2017...Was named captain of the varsity squad by head coach (and WU alumnus) Steve Lenahan, as well as notching the team Defensive Player of the Year award and leading her team in rebounds...She starred for head coach Dewayne Hansberry and the Georgia Pearls for her AAU basketball season...Due to her success in the classroom, Willis was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars, as well as graduating with academic honors...MaeOla is the daughter of Gus Willis and Linda Hawkins. She has two brothers and one sister.
