2015-16: Shelby Tricoli was second on the Wingate charts with her 10.0 points per game average…played in 24 games with 16 starts…The Academic All-America® candidate was the 2016 South Atlantic Conference tournament MVP as she averaged 11 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game in three tourney contests…shot 38 percent from three-point land in the league tournament…scored a career-high 25 points at Mars Hill (Dec. 5)...Three days later, she had a season-high eight rebounds at Newberry (Dec. 8)…nailed a season-high four three-point field goals in a home victory over Catawba (March 2)...Wingate’s most avid three-point shooter, she hit 31 triples as a junior…posted double-figure points in 13 games…SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…
 
2014-15: Tricoli played in 32 of 32 games as a sophomore (30 starts)…averaged 10.1 points per game…led team in three-point field goal percentage at 43 percent...shot 80 percent from the free-throw line…third-leading scorer on the team with 322 points on the season (10.1 points per game)…scored a season high 22 points against Shaw (Dec. 9) and Carson-Newman (Jan. 3)…recorded three steals against Columbus State (Nov.15) and Coker (Jan. 28)… season-high two blocks against Brevard (Feb. 28)…
 
2013-14: Tricoli averaged 8.1 points per game, earning a spot on the All-SAC Freshman team…started 23 of Wingate’s 30 games…led Wingate with her 81.9 percent free throw accuracy (among players with at least two free throws made per game)…added 1.7 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game…season-high 22 points in SAC championship game victory over L-R (March 9)… 21 points in home victory over Carson-Newman (Jan. 4)…in second SAC appearance, posted 18 points at Tusculum (Nov. 23)…hit double-digit points 13 times, including six of Wingate’s last seven contests…The Bulldogs were 10-3 overall when Tricoli hit double figures...SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll...

Prior to Wingate: Tricoli was a three-sport standout at Tuscola High School, where she played basketball for head coach Ann Gardner...She concluded her THS career with 1428 points, 361 assists and 322 steals...Tricoli was a four-time all-conference performer who led the Mountaineers to sectional and conference championships during her tenure...She was twice Tuscola’s MVP...
 
As a senior, Tricoli averaged 16.8 points per game, 3.7 assists per game and 3.5 rebounds per game...She hit 36.6 percent of her three-point field goals and 85.5 percent of her free throws...Tricoli scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Western Regional championship game her senior year, gaining all-tournament honors...
 
Tricoli was named all-district first team following her junior and senior seasons...She was a second team all-district choice as a sophomore...A Western N.C. All-Area pick two seasons, Tricoli was the leading scorer in the N.C. Blue/White game after her senior year, posting 16 points...
 
Tricoli served as a team captain for the Tuscola basketball and soccer teams her senior year...In soccer, she was the Mountaineers’ MVP as a junior...Tricoli has earned all-conference honors in volleyball (once) and soccer (twice)...She was named all-region in soccer following her junior campaign...Shelby is the daughter of Lisa Tricoli...
