Wingate University Athletics

Angelina Perrone is entering her second year with the Wingate Staff as their Graduate Assistant. She is striving to earn her Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in Project Management. Her undergraduate degree was in Business with a double minor in Sports Management and Criminal Justice. 

She is from Long Island, NY and played for East Islip High School. She took her skills down to the carolinas, where she went to Belmont Abbey College as a two-sport athlete. In addition to lacrosse, she also had the ability to play for the field hockey program. Perrone was an attacker for the Abbey and collected accolades such as defensive/offensive players of the week, most turnovers, all tournament and all conference. 

Perrone works with the attackers and the draw players for the Wingate program. She’s helped the bulldogs become ranked in offensive categories, as well as an overall best national ranking in program history. She also helped lead the team to their first SAC Conference Championship.
