Biography

2015-16: Anthanee Doyle is the only Wingate returner that started every game during the 2015-16 season…Finished third on the team with 10.1 points per game, knocking down a team-best 69 threes on 38.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc…Added 68 rebounds, 34 steals and 31 assists on the year…Scored in double figures 14 times during his junior season…Knocked down three-of-four shots from three-point range in the Belmont Abbey win, scoring 21 points…Had 17 points on six-of-10 shooting in the Newberry victory…Poured in career-high 28 points at Brevard, hitting 10-of-12 shots from the field including seven-of-nine shooting from three-point range…Had 17 points in the win against Carson-Newman…Knocked down four triples at Anderson, scoring 18 points in the win…Had 15 points in the Lenoir-Rhyne victory…Went six-of-seven from beyond the arc in the home win against Anderson, scoring 20 points…Knocked down four triples against No. 20 Queens in the SAC Tournament semifinal win, scoring 12 points.

2014-15: Doyle appeared in all 29 games during his first season at Wingate…Averaged 3.9 points per game, ranking third on the team in three pointers made (20)…Added 27 rebounds, 24 assists and 16 steals…Shot 37.7 percent from beyond the arc…Knocked down both three-point attempts in win at Lenoir-Rhyne…Had 14 points on five-of-six shooting against Tusculum…Went four-for-five from the field against Mars Hill, scoring 11 points, followed by a 10-point effort against Newberry on three-of-four shooting…Had 10 points and two assists against Queens, while collecting 13 points against Carson-Newman on three-of-five shooting from beyond the arc. 

Prior to Wingate: Anthanee Doyle played one season at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga...Played in 11 games for the Mocs in the 2013-14 season...Averaged 2.1 points per game, adding eight rebounds, six assists and two steals...Hit four-of-nine three-pointers (44.4 percent)...Was the team captain and team MVP at Holly Springs High School...Earned all-conference and all-county accolades, while also earning third team All-State honors.
