Biography

2014: Ali Evers earned first team All-SAC singles honors for the fourth straight year...Earned first team All-SAC doubles accolades for third straight season...Won 11 matches at number one singles for Wingate, going 7-4 against SAC opposition...Teamed with Becca Thomas for a 14-8 record at number one doubles, going 8-3 in the conference...Started a streak of six consecutive singles wins with a 6-2, 6-4 win against #40 GRU Augusta. 

2013:  Evers earned first team All-SAC honors for the third straight year as the Bulldogs won their third consecutive SAC title. She won 11 matches on the season for the Bulldogs, with 10 of those victories coming as Wingate’s number one singles player. Evers notched five victories against SAC opponents, helping the Bulldogs go undefeated in SAC play. With Becca Thomas as her doubles partner, Evers had 15 doubles wins (15-8 overall) at the number one position. The pair was 6-3 in SAC competition.
 
2012: Evers was named to the All-SAC team as she posted 11 victories as Wingate’s number one singles player. In the regular season, she was 6-3 against SAC opponents. With doubles partner Becca Thomas, Evers played 21 matches at the number one spot. The duo compiled a 12-9 overall mark with a 7-2 ledger in SAC play. Wingate won the SAC team title.
 
2011: Evers was a first team All-SAC selection and the SAC Freshman of the Year following a solid first season with the Bulldogs. Evers was 16-6 overall in singles action (6-3 SAC). She played 19 of her 23 matches at the number two singles flight. She compiled a 14-5 record at the number two position, while winning two of three matches at the number three position. In the number two doubles position, Evers was 18-4 overall with partner Samantha Alschlager. The duo was 7-2 in SAC matches. Wingate won the SAC team title.

Personal: Ali Evers played her prep tennis at Centennial High School. A team captain and two-time coaches award winner at Centennial, Evers was a standout in both singles and doubles. She made the state finals at the highest AAAAA level last season. Evers has a lifetime high school record of 37-20 playing varsity four years.

In addition to her high school success, Evers is an accomplished USTA junior player. She was ranked as high as number 38 in the state of Georgia and reached the top 150 in the Southern region. Evers trains at Universal Tennis Academy year round in the highest Excellence group. David Stolle is her personal coach.

Evers is the daughter of Bob and Carmen Evers. A multi-sport athlete, Evers also lettered in cross country at Centennial.
