Throws coach Danielle Crawford spent five years on Coach Matthew van Lierop’s roster, accumulating numerous conference and region honors in indoor and outdoor track and field. In her final intercollegiate appearance, Crawford was named the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Field Athlete of the Meet at the ’24 championships. Wingate won its second consecutive SAC title as Crawford scored 17 points. Crawford has earned two degrees from Wingate: a bachelor’s in business management in 2023 and a master of arts in sport management in 2024.
