2009: A preseason All-SAC selection in 2010, Rebecca Bloemer averaged 2.01 kills per set in her junior season while hitting .239. She was second on the team with 56 blocks on the season. Bloemer earned second team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honors. An active member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Bloemer will serve as the president her senior year. She had at least seven kills in 13 of her 33 matches as a junior. Bloemer had 10 kills, eight digs and two blocks to help Wingate overcome a 2-0 deficit against Flagler for a 3-2 win. She had six kills, four aces and three blocks against Brevard. Bloemer had a season-high 15 kills in a 3-2 win at Lincoln Memorial. She had nine kills in the 3-2 win over Carson-Newman. Bloemer had 11 kills in the SAC semifinal win over Catawba, while collecting eight kills in the Regional semifinal victory over Carson-Newman.
2008: Bloemer averaged 1.88 kills per set while hitting .255 in her sophomore season. She had seven or more kills 12 times on the year. Bloemer had eight kills and five block assists against Carson-Newman. She had 15 kills while hitting .519 in a 3-2 win at Catawba. Bloemer hit .692 with nine kills against Lenoir-Rhyne while racking up 11 kills in a 3-1 win at Lincoln Memorial.
2007: Bloemer was a first team All-SAC and all-freshman selection for the Bulldogs. She was second on the team and 10th in the SAC with 3.34 kills per game. Bloemer was second on the team and third in the league with a .316 hitting percentage. She had 16 matches with double-digit kills. Bloemer had a career-high 20 kills at Francis Marion, while hitting .457. She had 18 kills against St. Andrews, hitting an incredible .810 (18 kills, 21 attempts, one error) while adding four aces. Bloemer had 19 kills while hitting .417 in a 3-2 win over Tusculum. She had 15 kills against Lincoln Memorial, and 14 kills against Newberry in the SAC Tournament, hitting above .320 in both matches. Bloemer was named to the All-SAC Tournament team.
High School: Bloemer was the captain for the Assumption High School team that won the Kentucky state championship this season. Assumption won three state titles during Bloemer’s career (2004, 2005, 2006). In 2006, she was a key player as Assumption was ranked number two in the nation by www.prepvolleyball.com.
Bloemer was named an AAU All American, as she led her KIVA club team to a silver medal at the AAU Championships in Orlando. In 2005, her Assumption team was named Prep Volleyball National Champions.
