Emma Evanko

Emma Evanko brings experience as both a Division I student-athlete and coach across the youth, high school, club, and collegiate levels. A former midfielder at Butler University, she brings a player-centered perspective to coaching with an emphasis on development, confidence, and the mental side of performance.

Evanko began her collegiate coaching career at Anderson University, where she worked closely with the draw unit and injured athletes while also assisting on the offensive side of the ball. Her coaching experience spans all age groups, including U10 and U12 with the Catholic Saints, JV and Varsity lacrosse at Zionsville Community High School, and club lacrosse.

In August 2023, Evanko founded the True Indiana Girls Program and served as its Director, helping build and develop the program from the ground up while coaching athletes throughout their youth and high school careers.

Outside of coaching, Evanko is the founder of The Athlete’s Mental Playbook, LLC (AMP), an organization dedicated to advancing athlete mental health by providing athletes with practical tools, resources, and a supportive community to pursue peak performance while prioritizing their mental well-being. Her work with AMP directly complements her coaching philosophy and commitment to developing the whole athlete.

Evanko holds a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Accounting and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Management.
