Junior right-hander Olen Little tossed his second consecutive complete game three-hit shutout Sunday afternoon, leading the Bulldogs to an 11-0 win over Lenoir-Rhyne, helping Wingate sweep the three-game SAC series.
Little struck out five on the afternoon, lowering his league-best ERA to 1.04 while improving to a conference-best 4-0 on the year. In his two conference starts, Little has not allowed a run in 14 innings of work, striking out 10 while allowing just six hits. That includes last week's three-hit shutout at third-ranked Catawba, when Little led the Bulldogs to a 4-0 win.
