Junior middle blocker Abby Saehler (Iowa City, Iowa) hit .463 in three Wingate victories last week, leading the Bulldogs to a 3-0 week which included a pair of SAC wins. Saehler averaged 3.6 kills, 2.6 digs and 1.3 blocks per set for the week.
Saehler started her week with five kills, four digs and two blocks in two sets of action against Lees-McRae, hitting .333. The AVCA third team All-American hit .370 in the sweep against Catawba, collecting 12 kills, nine digs, four blocks and two aces in the sweep. Saehler capped her week by hitting .647 against Queens, piling up 12 kills, eight digs and four blocks in three sets of action.
Saehler ranks third in the SAC with 3.41 kills per set, second with a .303 hitting percentage and fifth with 0.98 blocks per set.
