Junior forward Isiah Cureton (Waxhaw, N.C.) had a huge week to lead the second-place Bulldogs to two more SAC wins, as Wingate stretched its league winning streak to nine games. Cureton poured in 27 points per game on 61.5 percent shooting, adding 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 assists per game, shooting 50 percent from three-point range and 78.3 percent at the line.

Cureton had a career-high 28 points in the win over Lenoir-Rhyne, adding 10 boards, a block and a steal while going eight-for-12 from the field and three-of-four from beyond the arc, knocking down nine free throws. Cureton had 26 points at Tusculum Saturday to go along with seven rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks, going eight-for-14 from the field and nine-for-nine at the free throw line. Cureton leads Wingate in scoring and steals, ranking second in rebounds, assists and blocked shots.
