Michelle Caddigan served in various roles during her more than 20 year Wingate career. Starting in 1997, she took over as head softball coach. She assumed the role of Assistant Athletic Director in 2006, then Associate AD in 2012, with her coaching career coming to an end. Caddigan served as Wingate Softball coach for 16 seasons, piling up 529 victories. Caddigan ranks fourth in league history in career wins. She led the ‘Dogs to a pair of SAC titles while earning SAC Coach of the Year accolades four times. Caddigan was named Director of Athletics at Catawba College in 2022 and now serves as the Vice President for Athletics.
