Player of the Decade: Law

Former Wingate head coach Andy Thompson on Law:

“In order to have a chance to win every game you play in women’s soccer at any level, you need to have at least two things: a good goal scorer and a good keeper. Julie was one of the best goal scorers to ever play in the South Atlantic Conference. She gave us a chance to win every game.”

“The difference in Julie and any good forward was her natural instinct around the goal and her selfishness in the penalty area. She was not only one of the best goal scorers to ever play in the SAC, but also one of the most competitive and driven players to play in the league. There is no doubt in my mind…she will be in the Wingate University and South Atlantic Conference Halls of Fame.”
