Misenheimer, N.C.----Pfeiffer University junior attack Nick Berkompas (Webster, N.Y.) scored the game-winning goal with 1:03 remaining in the second overtime, leading the host Falcons to a 12-11 NCAA Division II men’s lacrosse victory over Wingate University Saturday afternoon.

Berkompas scored the first goal and the last goal of the game for Pfeiffer (4-5 overall). Wingate sophomore midfielder Bryan Bayliss (Lorton, Va.) scored a career-high five goals for the visiting Bulldogs (3-6 overall).
