Jefferson City, Tenn.----The Wingate University men’s tennis team defeated Carson-Newman College 9-0 in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs improve to 8-3 overall and 4-1 in the SAC. Carson-Newman falls to 5-4 on the year and 1-2 in the SAC.
The Bulldogs dropped only two sets in singles action, after winning all three doubles matches. The Bulldogs have now won four straight matches, three of them coming in conference action, with the other win coming against #24 Anderson.
