Hartsville, S.C.----The Wingate University men’s tennis team earned its 10th consecutive victory Saturday, topping Coker College 8-1 at the Coker Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs are the number 39 team in the Campbell/ITA NCAA Division II national rankings.
Wingate is 14-3 overall. Coker falls to 6-10 overall. The Bulldogs visit number 29 Anderson (S.C.) University Monday at 2 p.m. Wingate returns home Saturday, hosting Brevard College at 1 p.m.

Juan Vallejo-Gonzalez (Quito, Ecuador) 8-3 in the number two doubles contest.
Patchell lost only one game in taking a victory at the number four singles flight. He defeated Cobra freshman
Ricardo Perez (Corpus Christi, Texas) 6-1, 6-0. Classmate
Fernando Montemurro (Sao Paulo, Brazil) lost only two games in singles and picked up a shutout victory (8-0) in number three doubles with junior teammate
Greg Machado (Sao Paulo, Brazil).
