Charlotte, N.C.----Wingate University seniors Flavio Rathsam (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Drew Owen (Kitchener, Ontario) and freshman Diego Martinez (Queretaro, Mexico) won two matches each as the Bulldogs blanked host Johnson C. Smith University 7-0 in NCAA Division II men’s tennis action Friday afternoon at the Coleman/Cuthbertson Tennis Complex.
 
Wingate lost only three games Friday, improving to 4-2 overall on the young season. The Bulldogs visit Erskine College Monday for a 2:30 p.m. Southeast Region match. Johnson C. Smith (0-6 overall) hosts Coker College Saturday at 1 p.m.
