Hartsville, S.C.----The Coker College Cobras scored seven consecutive goals to start the second half, rallying from an 8-7 halftime deficit to defeat Wingate University 15-10 in South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action Wednesday afternoon. The Cobras improve to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the SAC, while Wingate falls to 2-1 overall and 0-1 in the SAC.

Wingate scored three of the last four goals of the second quarter to take an 8-7 edge at intermission. The Bulldogs converted three extra-man goals in the second stanza, including two by Murphy. Martiello scored the first two goals of the third (12:48, 10:10) to give the Cobras the lead for keeps. Bretton's fourth goal made the score 10-8 Coker one minute later. Wilson scored the final two goals of the third quarter (5:54, 5:33), giving the hosts a 12-8 advantage. The Bulldogs would get no closer down the stretch.
