Wingate, N.C.----The 42nd-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs won two of three doubles matches and five of six singles matches Thursday afternoon, notching a 7-2 victory in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action against visiting Queens University. The Bulldogs improve to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in the SAC, while the Royals fall to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

Connor Kudrick (Spring, Texas) won 8-6 at number two doubles to put the Bulldogs on top 2-1 heading to singles play.
Kudrick won 6-1, 6-1 at number four singles, while a 6-2, 6-3 victory from freshman
Fillippo Pezzoli (Milan, Italy) gave the 'Dogs a 4-1 advantage. Hall won the clincher at number two singles, prevailing 6-2, 6-2. Towlson added a victory at number one singles for Wingate. He won the first set 6-3, while dropping set two 6-3. The third set was decided by a 10-set tiebreaker, which Hall won 10-8. Freshman
Tyler Schofer (Graham, N.C.) made the final margin 7-2 with a 6-2, 7-6 win at number six singles.
