The Bulldogs did not lose a set in the number three, four, five and six singles matches.

"The men found a way to win today," Wingate head coach Michael Cabana says. "We were gritty and determined, having not played our best and letting many opportunities slip through our hands. We will have to get better in preparation for Tusculum (Friday)."

Wingate will host Tusculum Friday at 2 p.m. The Bulldogs will entertain Carson-Newman Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Wingate will celebrate Senior Day Saturday, honoring Neal Towlson (Warwick, Bermuda) and Josh Eardley (Newcastle, Staffordshire, England) in pre-match festivities.
