Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University track and field teams will compete in two events this weekend. The distance group will participate in the eighth annual VertKlasse Meeting this weekend inside Vert Stadium on the campus of High Point University (live results; live Saturday video). Sprints, throws and jumps will travel to Spartanburg, S.C. this weekend for the 2016 Terrier Relays (heat sheets; schedule).

"With two weeks left until our conference championships, this is the time of the season when we should see plenty of personal bests from our student-athletes," Wingate head track and field coach Travis LeFlore says. "Our distance group competing at High Point University will run in competitive heats which should translate to good times for us. Sprints, throws and jumps will travel to Wofford. We expect them to perform at a high level as well. This will be an exciting weekend for Wingate Track and Field."
