Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs went 3-0 in doubles action and 5-1 in singles action Monday afternoon, rolling to an 8-1 victory over Belmont Abbey College in NCAA Division II men's tennis action. Wingate improves to 1-1 overall, while the Crusaders fall to 5-2 on the season.

Filippo Pezzoli (Milan, Italy) cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number one singles, while Belsito won 6-1, 6-4 at number two singles. DuToit rallied back after dropping the opening set 6-2, winning set two 6-3 while claiming the match in a tiebreaker at four singles. Junior

Nicholas Oliveira (Sao Paulo, Brazil) notched a 6-4, 6-2 victory at six singles.
