Wingate, N.C.----The 42nd-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs held a 4-1 lead over 31st-ranked Bluefield State Sunday afternoon, but the match was unable to be completed due to inclement weather. The match has been postponed, with a make-up date yet to be announced.

The Bulldogs took a 2-1 lead through doubles play, with senior Tyler Schofer (Graham, N.C.) and junior Amir Zari (Jerusalem, Israel) winning at number two doubles. Sophomore Duncan Addison (Halifax, Canada) and freshman Theo Dessacs (Toulouse, France) picked up a victory at number three doubles for the Bulldogs.

Senior Filippo Pezzoli (Milan, Italy) prevailed at number one singles for Wingate, while junior Josh DuToit (Charlotte, N.C.) won at four singles to put the Bulldogs on top 4-1 when rain entered the Wingate area.
