Elma N'For (Yaoundé, Cameroon) had two goals and an assist Wednesday night, leading the Bulldogs to a 4-1 victory over visiting Queens University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Pride Park. Wingate improves to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the SAC, while the Royals fall to 2-2-1 overall and 0-1 in league play.

Felipe Checco (Brotas, Brazil) got the scoring started in the 23rd minute, getting a through ball in the left side of the box from senior midfielder
Mateo Correa (Medellin, Colombia) and beating the keeper to score his second goal of the year.
Wingate took a two-goal lead six minutes later. Senior
Vicente Munoz (Santiago, Chile) served a perfect cross from the end line, finding N'For in front of the net who was there to score his second goal of the season, giving the 'Dogs a 2-0 lead heading to halftime.
Queens cut the lead in half six minutes into the second half when
Edmundo Robinson fired one into the near post from the right side of the box, scoring his second goal of the season to make it 2-1.
N'For put the Bulldogs back on top by three in the 63rd minute. Checco's pass from midfield found N'For battling a defender one-one-one. N'For held off the defender and snuck one past the charging keeper from the top of the box for his second goal of the night to make it 3-1.
Wingate took a three-goal lead in the 71st minute when freshman
Mattia Ditommaso (Milan, Italy) took a feed from N'For at the top of the box and grounded one past the keeper, scoring his second goal of the season to make the final margin 4-1.
Wingate out-shot Queens 14-9 on the night, with a 9-3 edge in shots on goal. Junior goalkeeper
Pablo Jara (Santiago, Chile) had two saves for the Bulldogs, while
Ben Wallace collected five saves for Queens. The physical contest saw a combined 48 fouls and 10 cautions.
